OK, trying to get sound working out of a pvr250. Video is all cushty and is
getting captured, but zero joy with the sound.

Im 99% sure that it's not the old "wrong module" thing because I get this
from dmesg:

msp34xx: ivtv version
msp34xx: init: chip=MSP3415G-B8, has NICAM support, simpler (G) no-thread
mode
msp34xx: $Id$ compiled on: Jan 23 2005 11:47:54
msp34xxg: set source to 3 (0x320)
msp34xxg: current mode: 6.0/6.55 I NICAM FM (0x000a)
msp34xxg: unmute
msp34xx: setbass: 32768 0x00
msp34xx: settreble: 32768 0x00
msp34xx: setvolume: mute=off 58880:58880 v=0x72 b=0x00

The only way that I could get this far was modprobing it using

modprobe msp3400 debug=1 standard=0x0a simple=0 simpler=1

Anything else and the autodetect failed. Ive also tried all combinations of
simple and simpler with no joy.

Any thoughts people? Is there anything i'm missing with this msp3400 or is
it something totally unrelated (i have checked that everything has been
unmuted)

Thanks in advance :)
