[mythtv-users] Do I nee to login as mythtv user?

I had problems in the installation of mythtv. The problems are mainly related to mysql permission etc and mythfilldatabase does not run. All the rest is working ok:-)
I am in the process of starting again from the begining.
I plan to run both server and client in the same machine.

Do I need to login as <mythtv> as suggested by Jarod? or can I use my usual login <tdec>?

If I use <tdec> as login where in the mysql I have to make the changes if any?
