[mythtv-users] how to populate the "already been seen" database?

I am converting from another PVR to MythTV.  I have a database of
programs that I have already seen that I would like to import into
MythTV.  The database is flat text, show title and episode title.  I am
hoping for a nice command line tool (to many to type!) that I can use to
get these in there.

Any ideas?
