[mythtv-users] Problem with Streamzap

Has anyone gotten a Streamzap working with a recent version of lirc?
The SourceForge driver won't patch against lirc 0.7.0.  I found 2 other
drivers - one here:

but it freezes kernel 2.6.8, and one here:

but it only supports the Streamzap remote - it won't recognize other
ones.  I was hoping to get a usb ir receiver working with my universal
remote.

By the way, avoid the MCE USB remotes from Newegg for now.  They are MCE
2005 remotes, and they aren't supported in the lirc driver yet.  MCE USB
2004 remotes are fine, but I don't know of a good way to tell the
difference, besides buying one and trying it.
