[mythtv-users] Strange Installation Behavior

I have a frontend installed on fc2 and it's working very well now. BUT,
I've had some very strange installation behavior that has happened on
Mythtv, MythVideo, and MythMusic. 

After installing Mythtv (download and compiling) the first run I got
errors trying to run the frontend. Going through the setup I found
"G.A.N.T." set as values on most of the fields in the setup. Installing
MythVideo and MythMusic I had the same issue. Had to go through every
setup screen and fix the values. 

Anyone seen this before or how to fix it for future installs in this
machine? Found no mention of this in the archive.
