The various remakrs about 'old options' do concern me but I could not find
a document which 'new style' options are available for modprobe.conf to
make sure I get them right.

I see a number of packages on http://atrpms.net/dist/fc3/video4linux/

I guess you mean:
video4linux-20041005_125709-53.rhfc3.at.i386.rpm
kernel-module-video4linux-2.6.9-1.681_FC3smp-20041005_125709-53.rhfc3.at.i686.rpm

Or should it include
kernel-module-saa7134-2.6.9-1.681_FC3-0.2.12_20041005_125709-53.rhfc3.at.i686.rpm
as well?

I will try later this week again if I am lucky enough to skip overwork at
which time I think you will have had some time to catch up with the
update I just saw announced.

Hugo.
