[mythtv-users] Poor video quality in PVR-350

Hey, all.
Just installed a new WinTV PVR 350 and the video quality leaves much
to be desired.
Whenever there's a bright area bordered by a dark area. the dark area
bleeds into into the light. It isn't s fuzzy bleed, but rather like a
series of short "scan" lines extending into the light area. This is
unacceptable in the extreme - the effect is very obvious and very
distracting.
I see this behavior both under WinTV2000 in Windows and MythTV. Videos
recorded with MythTV have this problem when viewed on my PowerBook in
VLC, too.
Playing with video settings doesn't seem to help at all. Can you all
tell me if this is normal behavior with the PVR-350?
The box is an Athlon 64 3400+, 512MB RAM.
I haven't set up the video out on the PVR-350 - I'm seeing this on the
PC's monitor.
WinXP boot:
- XP SP2
- 80 GB 7200rpm ATA
MythTV:
- Fedora Core 3
- 10GB 7200rpm ATA (boot & root partitions - ext3)
- 200GB 7200rpm SATA (/video - XFS)
Thanks!
