by Jove! it does... the problem is, I don't want to have so many buttons on my 
controller. Good thing my universal has a lcd display for something used as 
little as this will be.

Ideally I only want 5 maybe 6 buttons to navigate the UI, then the regular 
tv/dvr functions. Having to have each little option mapped to a new button is 
tedious. The g/f already complains that there are too many buttons to 
remember...
