[mythtv-users] help with channel changing

I think I've made a mistake. I'm building a Myth box for my parents, I thought 
they had analogue cable but it turns out they have digital. I'm here now for 
a few days and would like to get this set up for them. The Digital Cable box 
is a Scientific Atlanta 3100. Of course I've already set up a pvr 350 to go 
in the box and would prefer to just continue using that. I've read that with 
digital cable boxes I'll need an external channel changing device like an IR 
blaster. Is there a way I can get the 350 to do the actuall channel changing? 
I know it's odd but my parents Original Series 1 Tivo has no problem changing 
channels. Can I somehow emulate this with Mythtv?
