Hmmm the xine docs claim that xshm is a lot slower than xv. Does real world
experience say otherwize?

Personally I compiled my xine to use xvmc for more gforce mx 4000. I don't
use xvmc for mythtv yet, but it works great with xine. My P3 733 plays DVD's
beautifully that way.
