[mythtv-users] where's the patch to stop DVB from automatically scanning and adding channels?

I went to the -dev archive
(http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/mythtv/dev/) and searched for
'+dvb +add +channel +automatically' and it was the fourth result in
the list!
