Okay, I'm kinda tired of this sort of troll bait.

<START RANT>
I've been running with MythTV for close to 2 years now, I don't experience
your issues (and my setup is considerably more complicated then what you
describe - believe me). The fact of the matter is to set something like this
you need to do some learning, you need to tinker, and you need to restrain
yourself from pissing off the FREE support people that DONATE their time to
help you.

If you can't install it properly - I will try to help you - if you blame the
app, the developers, the weather, or anybody other than yourself - please
consider PAYING for another system (one that works for you), and leave the
happy and amazed users and developers of this FREE system alone.

I just can't believe just how unstable this app is.

this time while trying to watch tv via the ui,  I get 2 seconds of sound
and video then the display freezes and no sound. about a minute later
blue screen eventually I get the menu.  

sort of reminds me of Win Nt [the early days] :)
