[mythtv-users] lirc works once only & thats only after a cold boot.

Hi Folks,
Apologies if anyone gets duplicate copies of this email, there appears
to be issues posting to this list from gmail, anyway...

I'm having a little difficulty in getting my pvr-350's remote to
function with myth 18.1 on Fedora Core 3. I have followed the steps in
the howto at http://wilsonet.com/mythtv/fcmyth.php#lirc  

When I run /usr/bin/irw after a cold boot of the machine it works for
one button push only. When I attempt to use the remote for a second
time (even after an lircd restart, or a reboot), there is no output
from irw.

I checked /var/log/messages[1] and /var/log/dmesg[2], I have the
relevant modules loaded[3] and as far as I can tell everything looks
ok.

I have also included a copy of my modprobe.conf below[4].
Did I mis-configure something, I have gone back and checked my
configuration against the howto, but its still possible that I have
missed something.

Any suggestions as to what I should check/try next?
