Yes, you're probably right about the "conenction refused" bit - I'm
running a new kernel and I've not got round to recompiling lirc for it
yet, but the MySQL error is shown on the last line of that output:
QMYSQLResult::data: column 1 out of range

I think the patch modified the database structure, but the setup
program is still expecting the old database structure.
