I just found out, Mythtv likes to reset my /sys interlace variable to 0
(deactivating interlacing) as "Live TV" is about to be played.

>From briefly looking over the Mythtv gui settings, there is no setting
for activating interlacing. A user can only activate Deinterlacing
within the menus.

I need Mythtv to either:
a) keep interlacing enabled or
b) include a setting to enable it.
