So how do you get mythtv/dvd mencoder and xvid working? when recording/ripping a show I end up with files > 1.5 gig. > I second that. XviD is better (or atleast as good + open source, which > makes it better). But again it is a matter of one's own choice. For me > MythTV + mencoder + XviD is the best combination I could have. >
