[mythtv-users] How to transcode MPEG4 to MPEG2?

Can anyone tell me how to transcode MPEG4 files into MPEG2? Im trying
to get xbmcmythtv working on my XBox and I believe it's not working
'cos it doesn't like MPEG4, so I thought I'd throw some MPEG2s at it
and see what happened. My tuner cards are BT8x8 cards so I can only
produce RTJPEG or MPEG4 format. I thought there'd be an option in the
transcoding setup to convert MPEG4 to MPEG2 but there isn't.

Also, I had a look at nuvexport and there isn't an option to do it
there either (that I could see).
