[mythtv-users] Fast Forward/Rewind Issues

Hi,

I'm running the latest CVS with an AMD64 2800+, 512Mb PC3200 & Geforce 4 
Ti4200.

Fast-forward and Rewind at greater than 3x speed cause the image to breakup 
and usually results in the image freezing. This isn't a dedicated 
frontend/backend and I am running KDE etc in the background so is it just a 
case of limited CPU?

Also Rewind at 3x seems to go faster than FastForward and more prone to 
skipping/jumping and image breakups.

Using XvMC (partially supported by my card) does seem to improve the situation 
however the OSD causes the image to flicker negating the benefit completely.
