I use a plane old Sb Live 5.1 works like a treat - mine doesn't have
optical out, it's connected to a set of Creative 5.1 speakers.

I'm going to buy a new audio card and wanted feedback out what cards
people had success with.  Ideally I'd like to be able to hook it up to
my 5.1 channel receiver using optical spif, but that's not essential.
