I believe the video card should have a bigger impact. I have yet to test my 
7NIF2 box, I'll play with that over the weekend though. I'm still not certain 
exactly what to expect where. My 2.8GHz HT-P4 workstation w/a GF FX 5200 only 
clocks around 1100fps. But then another system with a GF4Ti cranks out over 
4000fps. The P4 has no problem keeping up with HDTV though.

I think if you're on the edge of viability for HDTV playback, an AGP card 
definitely helps. It does in the case of my Athlon XP 1800, which is sitting 
on my 7NIF2 mobo right now. Same graphics chipset in my case (GF4MX), just 
not sharing system memory anymore. I need to try out my GeForce 6200 in that 
box again, now that 7174 is out (the fugly beast that is 7167 didn't work for 
squat on this setup).
