[mythtv-users] MythTV and LIRC Screen Flicker?

Hey, I'm running MythTV 0.16 with LIRC 0.6.6 on a Pundit system
running Mandrake. I got MythTV 0.16 running fine and dandy, I recently
added the LIRC deamon, and recompiled MythTV with LIRC support, I
created a lircrc file for mythtv that directly sends commands to
MythTV, but now I'm getting a screen flicker on the menus (think grey
refresh line appearing on the screen with a slight shake of the menus)
whenever I push a button on the remote. This doesn't happen if I use
the keyboard to navigate, only the remote control. Any clues what
could be causing this?
