I am tring to install MythTv .16 on redhat 9

I did the following

apt-get update
apt-get dist-upgrade

Now I get the following error:

[root at frontend2 apt]# apt-get install mythtv-suite
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.

Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that
the package is simply not installable and a bug report against
that package should be filed.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
mythtv-suite: Depends: xmltv but it is not going to be installed
E: Broken packages

when I try to apt-get install xmltv it get:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
xmltv: Depends: xmltv-grabbers (>= 0.5.34) but it is not going to be
installed
E: Broken packages

when I try to apt-get install xmltv-grabbers it get:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
  xmltv-grabbers: Depends: perl(XML::Twig) (>= 3.10)
E: Broken packages

and so one....

-thanks
