Thanks much, this fixed the problem with tvtime and /dev/dsp . . . I can
now hear delayed audio through /dev/dsp when watching video with tvtime
(just what the MythTV documentation says should happen). However, I
still get no sound in MythTV, using /dev/dsp and /dev/mixer as the sound
devices. I'm still poring through mail archives, though I haven't come
across anything that worked for me yet. Any other suggestions?
