My wife would like to setup the computer in our bedroom as a frontend
for myth. I think all I need is the IR receiver and a remote to get the
system working. What IR receiver/remote combos are people having
success with?

What would be nice with this setup is if I could get Myth to display on
another monitor, in another X session, for example. That would allow me
to use the desktop/monitor as normal, but run myth on the TV next to the
computer. Audio will be a little difficult to split out, but that's not
a big deal for me. Does anyone have a setup like this? What would it
take to set this up?
