I think you are being unfair here, of course your input is highly
valued. But if I were to ask you for any packaging decision you'd have
me banned from all mythtv lists by long. :)

So is the above (no directfb, no opengl_sync) the currently best
general purpose setup (general purpose in the sense that the packages
can be used universally providing maximun functionality, e.g. dvb
etc)?
