While in a perfect world, all our PCI slots would be filled with neat
HDTV tuners, some of us are either on a limited budget or simply
choose not to invest too much on costly hardware. Also, some satellite
users only have one LNB.

While my vote might not weight much, I vouch for Markus's suggestion.
