[mythtv-users] How the heck do I automatically transcode a MPEG2 recording?

Hello,
 
Can't seem to figure this apparently simple problem out... I setup the profile for "From MPEG2" to transcode @ 800 bitrate 360x620 (can't remember exactly but I Think thats it).  Checked the box in the MPEG2 default recording profile to "automatically transcode" however even after a couple of days the transcoding daemon still hasn't done its job.. what am I doing wrong?
