[mythtv-users] sound output on tv is very low

I just bought some more audio cables and piped the audio out on my
PVR-350 to the line in port on my sound card.  I then connected the
line out on my sound card to my tv via 3.5 mm mini to RCA "Y" cable. I
went into gnome-alsamixer and upped the sound but it didn't stay after
i closed it,  so i went into Kmix and jacked everything up and I
finally got some sound, But turning that up all the way and my tv up
to 100% still doesn't produce as large of a sound that i was hoping.
What can i do to get more sound?
