[mythtv-users] Can MythTV record at a lower frame rate?

Presuming the CCTV is filming a fairly static scene, I would have
thought an MPEG4 codec would compress a full rate video very well. I
imagine it would take some tweaking to find the correct parameters.

Are you sure you want to shoehorn in mythtv for this? I'm sure there are
some more suitable apps around, http://www.zoneminder.com/ springs to
mind.
