An alternative would be to hook a SCSI/SATA controller in that box and
use a corresponding HD.
That would solve the BIOS limitation. Tho, the old PCI slots would
probably not be compatible with SATA controllers.
But anyway, even with a P3/1.26 I encounter minor PCI performance
issues... so, a 486... Be realistic. :)
