[mythtv-users] Athlon 64 chip better for noise/leccy than the XP-M?

Hello all,

Was thinking about the Athlon 64 chip - it has the Cool and Quiet 
feature, plus be able to use that Thermaltake XP120 HSF - would 
undervolting/underclocking that CPU generate less heat/noise and use up 
less electricity than the XP-M or is it a waste of time?
