[mythtv-users] New XVMC help/troubleshooting

Hi all, 

  I am trying to get the new xvmc to work and I'm not having any luck.  Not 
sure if this is too OT.  This is what I have so far:

Distro: Gentoo
Kernel: 2.4.26 with epia 2 patch applied
X:  xorg cvs version 6.8.1.99 with X.org_CVS_to_unichrome-xorg-r26.diff 
applied
Software:  Myth CVS 10/11

Dmesg reports:
[drm] Initialized via 1.3.0 20040411 on minor 0: VIA Technologies, Inc. VT8623 
[Apollo CLE266] integrated CastleRock graphics

Xorg logs has:
(II) VIA(0): [XvMC] Initialized XvMC extension.

When I try to watch a program/live tv myth segfaults and I get this in the 
log:
2004-10-11 16:00:06 Opening OSS audio device '/dev/dsp'.
2004-10-11 16:00:06 Audio fragment size: 4096
Using XvMC version: 1.0
XvMC found and using VLD surface
2004-10-11 16:00:06 Using XV port 56
_xvmc_create_context() returned incorrect data size!
        Expected 31, got 32
Unable to create XvMC Context return status:11 BadAlloc


If I uncheck the 'use via xvmclvd' option then everything works fine.

So I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts to point me in the right 
direction, I'm not sure if this is an obvious error or not.  If not I can try 
to grab a bt and post it.
