[mythtv-users] Sound settings don't stick

I seem to be having trouble getting my settings to stay put after using
alsamixer.  I've tried using "alsactl store", and that doesn't quite seem to
cut it.

If I change the settings while I'm watching a show, the settings stay as
long as I'm watching the show.  After the show is over, when I start a new
show, the sound level is back down to it's original level.  If I change the
settings, use "alsactl store", and reboot, the changes stay until I start
watching another show.

It looks like mythfrontend is changing the sound levels when it starts to
play a show.  Is there a mythtfrontend setting somewhere I am missing?

p.s.  I'm using Mandrake 10.0, if that makes a difference.
