[mythtv-users] Re: Problems with lirc and PVR-250 on FC2

I'm pretty sure it won't be any different, as it is well documented
what patches go into these kernels. For example, the kernel I am
currently using, 2.6.9-nitro4 (
http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=252838&start=0 ) has no
patches related to I2C, and I've tried it both with the in-kernel
LIRC, as well as deleting the in tree modules from /lib/modules, and
compiling the LIRC modules from a tarball from lirc.org. Same problem
both ways.

If you really think it'll help, I'll try a vanilla kernel, though I
most likely won't get to it for several days at least. Further, I
first want to try it in windows to make sure it's not a hardware
problem that I'm wasting everyone's time about.
