[mythtv-users] crackling/popping audio

i see lots of commercial cables with a black "bump" on teh cable. 
this is iron, and should ideally be positioned about an inch or two
from the computer connected end.

i did read the theory of hte signal and all that and how it works, but
have forgotten .. :-( google will turn something up.

so, grab a good chunk of iron (nails perhaps) and wrap it around your
sound cable and see if that works.  at the very least it may prove a
point,...
