[mythtv-users] lirc_serial woes

Try lirc_serial_home (works for mandrake)

See if you have a 3rdparty directory under /lib/modules/`uname -a`/kernel/

or see if there are modules in the same path under misc/ (I think
that's where the custom modules get installed, but I'm using the ones
from the kernel, so I don't remember where the ones from source were
put...)

Again, this was an issue for me in Mandrake 10[.0/.1] (easily fixed
with the multimedia kernel, but that kernel was harder to patch for my
pcHDTV)

Hope this helps or at least gets you a little farther...
