Isn't this kindof the whole point of mythweb?

Well I'm guessing your real question is that you have port 80 used for
linux box 1 and you want to still access your mythtv box. If that's
the case, just setup apache on your mythtv box to use a different
port. Alternatively there is probably a way to tell mythweb to look on
another server for the mysql database and nfs mount the directories
for recordings.

I wouldn't use vnc but I would use ssh's excellent port forwarding
abilities. That's how I do it so my router only has port 22 open and
no one else can access it. Alternatively you can edit the .htaccess
file to have usenames and passwords.
