It doesn't work. :)  I haven't been able to find good documentation of
the mapping from old API -> new API, so I thought I'd wing it based on
examples, and must have screwed something up.  I might be able to try
again this weekend, but there are things in meatspace that I need to
get done while it's still warm enough to work outside.
