Hello,

        Having no luck making this work. I have Mythtv installed and
working but cannot watch tv. For now I'm just working on the pc, no
tv-out. Doesn't matter if I use Watch TV in myth, xawtv, or tvtime. I
only get what looks like scrambled crap on the screen. For now I am also
just plugging in an off-air antenna. I know this works because I can plug
it into the ntsc tuner on the tv and all is fine.

        I have setup using Jarod's guide and modules from atrpms.net. Here
is what my /etc/modprobe.conf looks like:

alias eth0 3c59x
alias char-major-81-0 bttv
options bttv autoload=1 card=63 radio=0 pll=1 tuner=2
alias usb-controller uhci-hcd
# nvidia kernel module
alias char-major-195 nvidia-1_0-6111
alias snd-card-0 snd-ens1370
install snd-ens1370 /sbin/modprobe --ignore-install snd-ens1370 &&
/usr/sbin/alsactl restore >/dev/null 2>&1 || :
remove snd-ens1370 { /usr/sbin/alsactl store >/dev/null 2>&1 || : ; };
/sbin/modprobe -r --ignore-remove snd-ens1370

I've put in the options for bttv although I believe it autodetects
properly as well. Here is the /var/log/messages:
