[mythtv-users] Edit Program locks up my frontend...

I'm running 0.16 Myth on a Fedora Core 1 box and a Hauppague PVR-350. I have been running Myth with little incident for several months, but I'm having difficulty Editing Recorded programs. Every time I attempt to edit a recording, I hit my Menu button on my remote to bring up the OSD. When I select Edit Program, the recording and my front end lock up. After a restart, the program that I was attempting to edit comes up black with audio, and then kills my frontend. After restarting *again*, things seem to be fine. This occurs every time I attempt to edit a program.

To troubleshoot this problem, I consulted my backend log to make sure nothing funny was going on there. There were no errors. I checked the recorded database for editing flags that were set to 1, there were none. This is what the frontend logs show when I attempt to start Edit mode (my actions are in brackets):

realtime priority, improving video smoothness.

If there is information that will help someone diagnose my problem better, please let me know. I'm relatively green when it comes to troubleshooting on Linux. I would greatly appreciate assistance with this issue so I can edit commercials out of my recordings to save some drive space. If possible, please respond to mythtv2 at dalcher.com or josh at dalcher.com.
Thank you very much!

Josh
