[mythtv-users]PVR350 + ir?

i'm quite stumpd here.  've got lrc 0.7 installed and running lircd,
lircmd and the dev stuff happening, however i get nothing out of irw,
which, of course is a bummer.

idea's hints?

(kernel 2.6.9, pundit-r, debian but a "manual install" of lirc)
