roughly $600 gives you ~50hrs at really realy good quality or  ~140hrs 
at good quality as opposed to the 80hrs at unwatchable quality you'd get 
on the tivo. Be careful though, that was the start of the addiction, I 
now have it plugged full of hdd's and pvr cards and probably over $1k 
invested in it, but hey, it was fun...
