The MythTV xbox distro is stripped down and is only used as a frontend.

In theory you could add an external USB tuner (by hacking together xbox to
usb cables) and install a full distro on the unit, then install the drivers
and set up the backend. In short it is possible, but not easy to use an xbos
as a backend/frontent

yes but that still doesnt tell me how to get it to capture
