[mythtv-users] Epia M: diskless frontend or pvr-350-based back/front end?

There is no reason why you shouldn't be able to use a pvr in the
diskless frontend.  You'd obviously have to leave the frontend on all
the time if you wanted to be able to record or either have it wake up to
record but other than that....the only other pitfal would be that it
would generate a fair amount of network traffic if it was recording and
watching something at the same time.  Not really a problem if you are
using wired network.  I have a Dlink wireless G network and its able to
handle this load as well but I suppose if you had a little interference
on your wireless and less than optimal transfer rates it might be a
problem.
