[mythtv-users] Internal Player and Sound

Hello,

My mythtv setup has been working pretty well now, my only gripe is
that playing anything out than TV out my 350's tv-out is rather slow
and I know that's an ivtv thing that hopefully will get fixed as the
drivers develop.... one thing of note,   I recently discovered that
using the internal player by specifying "Internal" instead of mplayer,
I can play dvd rips perfectly smooth... however, there is no sound. 
Can someone point me in the right direction on how to fix this?   
Sound works fine when watching TV and as well when using mplayer to
play the same file.  (I'm using CVS as of a few days ago)
