[mythtv-users] MYSQL problem

I can't get mythtv to run under mandrake Linux 10.1 
 
Mysql is installed.  I don't know anything about databases 
so I'm not sure what the problem is. 
 
when i go to a command prompt and type mythtv i get the 
following errors: 
 
QSqlDatabase: QMYSQL3 driver not loaded 
QSqlDatabase: available drivers: 
QSqlDatabase: QMYSQL3 driver not loaded 
QSqlDatabase: available drivers: 
Unable to connect to database! 
No error type from QSqlError?  Strange... 
couldn't open db 
 
that's exactly what I see and I have no idea what it's 
telling me or what I'm supposed to do. 
 
I'd appreciate some help and direction with this...
