Hm, this one sounds like a problem for Axel. I'd take it over to the 
atrpms-users mailing list.

What version of ivtv did that end up installing? (rpm -q ivtv) I haven't run 
RH9 in ages, so I have no clue as to specifically what versions of anything 
works or doesn't work...
