Just wanted to let interested parties know that I updated the IRBlasterHowto with notes for kernel 2.6 (Fedora Core 2).

As usual, the IR Blaster Howto and an already converted remote-0.7.0pre8.tar.bz2 can be found at:

For those who don't know what it is, I wrote this Howto after getting my Actisys IR-200L blaster working with my Scientific Atlanta Explorer 2000. It deals with creating an alternate version of LIRC that runs on a different device, so one LIRC can drive the IR receiver along side another LIRC that drives the Blaster.

This process should work for any device that LIRC supports. The key to success is getting a blaster that is compatible with your cable/dish box.
