[mythtv-users] Re: MythWeb problem after switching from default theme to compact and back

Well this probably isnt the proper way, but I had a similar problem,
and the way I fixed it was round about

# apt-get remove mythweb

it will then will want to remove mythweb and mythsuite, I didnt
actually load my front end at this point to confirm if worked or not,
but it didnt change my settings

then # apt-get install mythweb

it will then re-install mythweb and mythsuite from the cached rpms,
and overwrite any config files left and Voila working myth web again.

and I did check my frontend and backend at this point and all settings
were the same recordings still scheduled and database still intact.
