You're not using the XFree86 driver if you followed my doc. I [still] haven't 
even had a chance to try it myself, and thus have not yet documented anything 
about it. Your biggest problem seems to be an issue with xvidcore either not 
getting installed, or not getting installed properly, the reason for which 
escapes me... Try what Axel suggested.
